The Morris Men hurtle down Southover Street towards the Annunciation Church in Washington Street, the official start of the parade. |

Thirsty already, only a couple of minutes after the start ... Luckily Hanover is famous for its pubs, perhaps it was the sight of the Dover Castle that produced this reaction ... The Dover Castle hosted a barbecue and a live reggae band outside on the day. |

Wings were also a theme on the day ... Lunches and teas were served in the garden of the Annunciation Church for those in need of a cup of tea and a sit down. |

There were plenty of activities for children, including 'makeovers', hair wraps and learning to juggle in the garden of the Hanover Community Centre. The Community Garden is looking much better, and is a real resource for the community. Volunteers are still needed for maintenance and development.
