Presenting a unique platform of live Dance & Acoustic music to shake our worlds, environments of fun, culture and joy to globally warm your winter evening. Sat 12th Feb 2005 Sallis Benney Theatre Live dance music from French Gypsy jazz, Moldavian street-style Gypsy horns and beats, to raw Trinidadian carnival style rhythm sections. An evening of pure abandon for those with soul. Exhibitions, Lectures and Talks February 7 - 11 Critical Fine Art Practice "-ing" The strange title of this exhibition was suggested by a student whose first language is Japanese. He had noticed that in English the suffix '-ing' indicates a continuous, present action: talking, making, etc. And that's what this exhibition is going to be about. Visitors to the gallery are welcome to participate. For a copy of the timetable send "-ing" to . February 7 - 11 Sculpture February16 - 22 Editorial Photography "Traces" A vibrant exhibition comprising thirty six 2nd year Photography students invited to show work encompassing a wide variety of subject matter. A guaranteed feast for the eye from the promising young artists and photographer's writing the new history of photography. February16 - 22 Printmaking See print in its diversity - from traditional etching through to state of the art digital printing. Subject matter and style are equally wide ranging. This show not only will intrigue and amuse but also aims to challenge the possibilities of printmaking. February 26 - March 3 - Dance and Visual Art, Music and Visual Art. A variety of works featuring video/audio installations, dance for camera, screen work, installation performance, live art and interactive performance work. |

Beginners also welcome - 2 - 3 pm, contact Cynthia on (01273) 687303 The Crawfish Scrapers play Cajun, old time, and Irish music, four core members plus guests play fiddles, banjo, guitar and triangle! Owing to the closure of the Queens Park Tavern The Crawfish Scrapers are currently looking for a pub willing to host their weekly music session. Any offers or suggestions to please. Recently formed Hanover Band The Curst Sons have been packing venues recently. The three piece describe themselves as Hillbilly swamp rock blues.
